We have developed an enviable expertise in the Health Sector representing several Local Health Boards, private primary care medical centre developers and residential care nursing home developers. Schemes have included major extensions to a hospital in Aberystwyth, retention of medical theatre facilities, new primary care centres, mental health assessment units, extra-care residential developments, promotion of new 'Park and Ride' facilities and input into health board estate strategies.

The services we provide include:
Appraising potential healthcare sites; facilitating pre-application meetings with local authority planners; co-ordinating, briefing and managing specialist technical development teams; co-ordinating the preparation and submission of planning applications, including preparing Design and Access Statements and/or planning statements; monitoring the determination of planning applications by the local planning authorities; negotiating S106s; co-ordinating the process of discharging planning conditions; undertaking healthcare facility management assessments; co-ordinating site marketing strategies; co-ordinating BREEAM assessments and when necessary lodge and prepare S78 Planning Appeals.

Our strategic development team also promote strategic healthcare sites via the development plans for alternative developments.
