New Vacancy – Graduate Transport Planner
We have a vacancy for a Graduate Transport Planner to assist with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans. Our core business is providing transport planning advice for development projects.
The role entails providing technical support on projects including the preparation of plans and drawings. This will entail the use of AutoCAD and other graphics/design software packages. All necessary training will be provided to the successful candidate so no prior work experience in a transport planning role is necessary.
The position will also include the following responsibilities:
- Carrying out technical research and data collection to assist with the preparation of reports;
- Undertaking site visits, carrying out traffic surveys, briefing and liaison with traffic survey companies;
- Preparing plans, traffic flow diagrams and mapping information;
- Preliminary access and junction design and on-site layouts;
- Assisting with project administration
The position whilst predominantly based in Swansea, in our new office premises at 220 High Street, but will also include working at our Cardiff Office located on Cardiff Gate Business Park. Ideally, the applicant needs to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
