We have secured planning permission for a 34 unit residential scheme for Bowtree Ltd and Bro Myrddin Housing Association in respect of the land at Maes y Bryn, Penllwyngwyn Road, Bryn, Llanelli. The development will consist of 34 dwellings which will be made up of a mix of 20 two bedroom semi-detached houses, 8 one bedroom flats, 4 four bedroom semi-detached houses and 2 four bedroom detached houses.
All the units are to be affordable and of a social rented tenure and will be operated by Bro Myrdding Housing Association. The development seeks to meet the housing need identified by the Authority and is one of the strategic priorities of the Carmarthenshire County Council's Housing Service department and as a result, part of the Authority's Social Housing Grant from the Welsh Government has been allocated to the development with the intention of providing more affordable homes in the Llangennech area.
