Asbri Planning have been instructed by Lovell, on behalf of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, to progress a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) in respect of the full planning application for the proposed residential development and associated works at Land to the south of Hayeswood Road, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 5AG.

In accordance with Part 1A of The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016 (“the 2016 Order”), all major developments are required to be subject to pre-application consultation, prior to the Planning Application being validated by the Local Planning Authority. Under Section 2C Asbri Planning are required to make a draft valid planning application available publicly for comment for no less than 28 days.

All relevant drawings, reports and supplementary supporting documents are available for inspection and review below.

A public engagement event will be held at Castleland Community Centre, Barry, CF63 4JZ between 2:30pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday 26th November 2025. Please come along to view the plans and to discuss the development proposals with members of the team.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this proposed development must do so by the 12th December 2025.
