Former Tonypandy Primary School


Asbri Planning Ltd. has been commissioned by Cynon Taf Community Housing to undertake pre-application consultation in respect of the proposed development at the Former Tonypandy Primary School

We give notice that Cynon Taf Community Housing is intending to apply to Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council for planning permission, for the following development;

Full application for the demolition of the existing school structure and proposed residential development at the former Tonypandy Primary School, Primrose Street, Tonypandy, CF40 1BQ

Prior to formal submission to the Local Planning Authority and in accordance with the requirements set out in Part 1A of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales)  Order 2012, the proposal will be subject to pre-application consultation.

All relevant drawings, reports and supplementary supporting documents are made available for inspection and review on-line below. Computer facilities of the proposed application are available to view Tonypandy Library, De Winton Street, Tonypandy, CF40 2QZ. Daytime opening hours are as follows; Monday (9:00am-1:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm); Tuesday (9:00am-1:00pm and 2:00pm-6:30pm); Wednesday (9:00am-1:00pm); Friday (9:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm), Saturday (9:00am to 1:00pm). Please note that the Library is closed all day on Thursdays.

In addition to the online facility, a Pre-Application Consultation event is being held at Hope Church Rhondda, Dunraven Street, Tonypandy on Thursday 1st August 2019. The event will run from 3:30pm – 7:30pm. Local councillors and residents are invited to come along to view plans and documents associated with the proposed development, meet with the development team to discuss the scheme and complete a response form.
