Catherine is an Associate in the Cardiff Office, joining Asbri in 2021.  She a professionally qualified town planner and a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute with 18 years’ experience in planning consultancy.  Catherine has gained a wide range of experience and has a broad knowledge of the planning and development sector, having worked on a variety of development schemes including residential, affordable housing, assisted living/extra-care, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and heritage/listed buildings.

Catherine’s most challenging project to date has involved the coordination and project management of a 48MW solar farm in the Vale of Glamorgan, successfully obtaining planning consent from the Welsh Government for this Development of National Significance.  One of her most rewarding projects includes obtaining planning permission for the development of a well-being village in Ely, Cardiff, including the development of over 100 affordable apartments for older people and supporting facilities.

In her spare time, Catherine is kept busy by her two children, who love spending time at the beach (and in the sea - even in December), as well as supporting them in many sporting activities, including lots of football.  She also loves walking her humongous hound, Ted.
