Dylan is a Principal Planner based in Cardiff and joined Asbri Planning in 2013. While working with Asbri Planning, he has enjoyed working on the construction of a 5.6MW ground mounted solar PV generation project and associated works at Oak Grove Farm in Crick in Monmouthshire. The application required extensive pre and post submission liaison with various consultants including specialists in archaeology, ecology, highways, landscape and visual impact and others, all of which broadened his knowledge of renewable energy requirements and the whole planning process.
Outside of work Dylan, originally from Newtown in mid-Wales, is a Welsh Schools Champion in football and hockey and now plays rugby for Clwb Rygbi Cymry Caerdydd. He also enjoys cycling and most importantly is a huge part of the Asbri Planning Touch Rugby Team! Dylan is a fluent Welsh speaker and enjoys travelling, with Las Vegas recognised as one of his favourite destinations.
Dylan already has a colourful working history that includes being a planning officer at Powys County Council, sports coach, bagging coal and rearing pheasants on a game farm!
