Planning consent has been secured for a major ground-mounted solar development in rural Northamptonshire.
Following a positive committee resolution in October, Asbri Planning have been working closely with South Northamptonshire District Council as the local planning authority to provide further information in respect of archaeology and also to agree the details of a scheme of community benefits.
The scheme will see the generation of up to 5.4 megawatts of renewable electricity, sufficient to supply approximately 4,320 homes per year. The Northamptonshire site represents one of a series of major solar applications that have been submitted by Asbri Planning on behalf Archiception Ltd, part of the PCI Group. Further applications are expected to be determined within the next quarter.
