Asbri Planning have been instructed by Powys County Council Estate and Property Management to progress a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) in respect of the proposed Hybrid Planning Application for CymruTech Park comprising: Full application for the proposed site access road, employment units (B1/B2/B8), green skills academy (D1) together with associated works; Outline application with all matters apart from access reserved for employment units (B1/B2/B8), advanced manufacturing centre and associated works on land to the north of Llanidloes Road, Newtown, Powys, SY16 1EX.

In accordance with Part 1A of The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016 (“the 2016 Order”), all major developments are required to be subject to pre-application consultation, prior to the Planning Application being validated by the Local Planning Authority. Under Section 2C Asbri Planning are required to make a draft valid planning application available publicly for comment for no less than 28 days.

All relevant drawings, reports and supplementary supporting documents are available for inspection and review below.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this proposed development must do so by 15th May 2026.
