Scott is currently on a 10-month work placement at Asbri, who is also studying Planning and Real Estate at the University of Manchester. He attended Ysgol Gyfun Llanhari and Y Pant sixth form prior to University.

Outside of work, Scott plays rugby for his local club, Pontyclun, and goes surfing down Rest Bay and Pembrokeshire. He also went backpacking around Southeast Asia during his gap year, spending a month volunteering in Bali helping to build a school in the local village. When in University, he competes in slalom skiing events, plays rugby and enjoys going to the gym.
